FEE STRUCTURE
To protect our waters from the impacts of boating and the introduction of destructive aquatic invaders such as quagga and zebra mussels, boat inspections and certifications are being conducted at all launch facilities. The required boat inspections that have been in effect in Lake Tahoe since 2008 are being upgraded for 2010 to include a clean boating certification and sticker. For the 2010 boating season a single annual fee for inspection services and Blue Boating certification will be required. The Blue Boating Program is a certification and education program that is the newest element of a broad, ongoing effort to protect Lake Tahoe.
