INTERPRETING A BMP SITE EVALUATION

A typical BMP site evaluation from TRCD includes the following items:

Site Plan-- computer drawing of house to show location of treatments

Recommended Treatments Form detailing required dimensions of treatments

Written description of recommended treatments

Home Landscaping Guide for Lake Tahoe and Vicinity

Various tip sheets that pertain to the property

You will find that the treatment labels on the Site Plan, the Recommended Treatments Form, and the written description all correlate to each other.

When you receive your site evaluation packet in the mail, be sure to read all the enclosed materials before you begin installation of the recommended treatments. The written description of the treatments and the tip sheets contain important information that may not be noted on the Site Plan or Recommended Treatments Form.

If, after reviewing the recommended treatments, you have other ideas for your BMPs and would like to change your evaluation, please contact TRCD to discuss alternate options.
